Broker FAQ

Questions, answered.

How fast can you turn a scenario around?

For files in by midday with the standard pack complete, you’ll have a written indicative offer for your client by close of business the same day. Most settle 1-2 business days after acceptance, subject to valuation timing.

What documents do you need to issue an indicative?

A standard pack: client ID for all guarantors, ASIC company search, Rates notice and a one-paragraph file summary with the exit strategy. Less than that and we can still talk scenarios; for a written indicative we’ll need this pack.

How and when is commission paid?

Brokerage is disclosed in the indicative offer, capitalised into the loan, and paid by EFT to your nominated trust or business account on the same day the loan settles. No clawback applies after the first 30 days of the loan.

Do you accept second-mortgage and caveat security?

Yes — both. Registered second mortgages over Australian real property are our most common security. Caveat lending is available case-by-case for shorter-term scenarios where first-mortgage consent timing is impractical.

What's your sweet spot?

Loans of $10,000–$500,000. It can be unsecured or secured and that will depend on the application. It is secured by it will be by residential or commercial property in metro or major regional Australia, with a clear 30-day-to-6-month exit (refinance, settlement, sale, or trading profit). We’ll consider deals outside this on a case-by-case basis.

What scenarios won't you do?

Consumer-regulated lending under the NCCP, rural-only security without a sale exit, properties in remote locations without recent comparable sales, and deals where the exit strategy is speculative rather than evidenced.

Do you compete with brokers on direct enquiry?

No. Where a client is introduced by an accredited broker, that broker remains the client’s relationship contact for the life of the loan. Direct-enquiry clients are handled by our credit team and not redirected to brokers.
